Although Rosie was never officially recognized as the oldest cat, she lived longer than many cats could ever hope. At 33 years, she equaled 152 human years – an incredibly remarkable record. The title of the oldest living cat now belongs to Flossie from Kent, who lived to 28 years, while the oldest cat of all time was Creme Puff, who lived an astonishing 38 years.

For Lila, though, it was never about titles or records; it was about the life they shared. „We had many beautiful memories, and I’m happy we got to spend our time together,“ says Lila.
Though Rosie is no longer with us, her story remains a beautiful reminder of the incredible bonds we share with our pets. For Lila, Rosie will always be remembered not as a record holder but as the cat who filled her life with love, joy, and countless memories.
