A Kitten from New Jersey with Very Special Eyes!
Hello, cat lovers! Letâs share the touching story of Zeke, a small black-and-white kitten who was abandoned by the whole world just because he was a little different from the others.
When Zeke arrived at the shelter, it was quickly discovered that he was born with Hydrocephalus and had many skeletal issues that severely affected his daily life. Hydrocephalus, often called „water on the brain,“ happens when there is too much cerebrospinal fluid in the brain.
As is often the case with animals with special needs, no one wanted to adopt Zeke because many people were put off by his condition. Sadly, he was destined to be euthanized. But just when it seemed there was no hope, a compassionate woman named Lisa stepped into his life and changed Zekeâs fate.
Lisa saved Zeke at the very last minute from euthanasia and immediately decided to officially adopt him. But their new life was far from easy, as Zeke had to travel by plane from Texas to New York City. Nothing, however, could stop this duo from enjoying the best life together.
After arriving in New Jersey, Zeke immediately felt at home, as if he knew he was there to stay forever. Lisa shared excitedly: âZeke is amazing and behaves like any other normal kitten. Despite his illnesses, he has tons of abilities. Heâs such a clever little guy!â
